In this episode I discuss the movement by a number of activists to make college “free” in the United States. We are in a state of paralysis when it comes to debating these suggestions. There is a right side, which recognizes that economic incentives and costs matter, and there is a wrong side that is ignoring the obligations placed on others by declaring education a “right.” I also discuss some proposals for the Democrats for their national convention. They should lead from the front and practice what they preach.
