The Fed's Counterfeit Prosperity

In this episode’s “sticky notes” I discuss an economically illiterate Washington Post editorial regarding the coming debt ceiling hike and the accumulation of over 33k dollars of new government debt, per household, since the beginning of John Boehner’s speakership. I also address the dangerous situation developing in the South China Sea. The core topic of today’s show is the Federal Reserve’s attempt to print 3 trillion dollars of new money and their mistaken belief that this would rescue our struggling economy. This money is flooding into financial assets and not where it is needed, into new capital investment.
