The Single Payer Healthcare Lie

In this episode’s “sticky notes” I discuss the dramatic Medicare Part B premium hikes and the media’s failure to tell the public why healthcare cost inflation is accelerating. I also discuss the gun control crowd’s refusal to acknowledge that increasing gun ownership in the United States has been associated with decreasing levels of gun violence. Again, the left appears to only be interested in “the science” when the data fits their narrative. The core topic of today’s show is the re-emergence of single-payer, government-controlled healthcare in the state of Colorado. The progressives pushing for this type of program are seemingly immune to the history of state-level, single-payer healthcare. Vermont, a deep-blue state with a Democratic governor tried to implement a similar single-payer plan and failed miserably, scrapping the plan due to extraordinary costs.
